Laurelwood Swim Club

Join Us

Laurelwood Swim Club is a bonded member community. Becoming a member means joining a long‑standing tradition of family fun, volunteer spirit, and shared ownership. Below you’ll find an overview of how membership works, along with important deadlines for the upcoming season.

Bonded Membership Overview

Laurelwood is a bonded member club, which means all full members—single or family—hold a membership bond.

  • A bond costs $500.
  • It may be paid in full during the first year or split evenly over the first two years of membership.
  • Bonded members have full voting privileges and rights as outlined in our by‑laws.
  • Membership is guaranteed from year to year as long as annual dues are paid.

    Terminating a Bonded Membership

If you wish to terminate your bonded membership, you must notify the Board in writing by March 15. Email both: president@laurelwoodswimclub.com and membership@laurelwoodswimclub.com

If the Board does not receive written notice by the deadline, you will remain responsible for annual dues or risk forfeiting your bond.

Termination requests are added to our outlist in the order they are received. Per our by‑laws, bond payouts are processed on a first‑come, first‑served basis and depend on how many new bonded members join that season. We make every effort to issue as many payouts as possible by the end of July. If there are not enough new bonded members to cover all payouts, remaining outlisted members will be first in line the following year.

    2026 Season Invoices

Invoices for the 2026 season will be sent on February 1. Payment is due upon receipt and no later than May 1. Unpaid invoices after May 1 may result in bond forfeiture.
